Like all my chairs, you'll find it comfortable for nighttime feedings or just relaxing after a hard day at work.  The chair can be enjoyed with or without the arm-pads.

• The padded armrests are removable for easy cleaning; they attach with Velcro
• Features extra lumbar support
• Thick foam in the seat, and a smooth rocking action.
• The chair measures about 28 inches wide x 39 inches tall x 30 inches deep

It is not recommend to paint oak, but a stained finish showcases the grains in the wood.
